So I was going to get all caught up on my reviews before I headed out of town for a Virginia Tech football game (Go HOKIES) but like normal that didn’t happen….but while I’m sitting outside enjoying the gorgeous weather and scenery, I thought I would pose the following question to you guys:
What is your favorite sports based book? It can be fiction or non-fiction…enquiring minds want to know
For me, it is probably a toss up between Rachel Gibson ‘s Chinook Hockey series and Susan Elizabeth Phillips Chicago Stars series. Although I did enjoy the stand-alone book, Scored by Lily Harlem that I recently read

My first thought was SEP’s Chicago Stars books, they are so good! But then I thought of Jaci Burton’s Play by Play series, they are as yummy as their covers! I can’t pick between them…
I am going to have to check out that hockey series, I keep hearing about it. And I grabbed Scored as a Prime loaner, but I haven’t read it yet. Your review made it sound really good!

Very tough question to answer. One book I really love is Watching Baseball Smarter (by Zack Hample). It’s one of those books anyone can read and enjoy, from someone who has lived baseball their entire life to someone who hasn’t had any exposure to the beautiful game.
Fiction…I like SEP…Natural Born Charmer is a favorite. I also like Scoring Lacey (by Jenna Howard).

I might have to check out that Baseball book – I couldn’t think of any NF when I wrote the post – but after i remembered a limited publishing book that came out about the Army/Navy game that was a good read – it alternated chapters in the lead-up to the 2001 game that was a good read

Only two come to mind. Chicago Stars Series by SEP of course. I love those books, pure fun. I also loved Catching Jordan by Miranda Keneally.
