This is one of those book series that I have seen mentioned many times and yet, never picked up. So when I was looking for a book set in an African country for a challenge, it seemed like a good a time as any to read it. I was pleasantly surprised with it, the writing was intriguing and the mystery while simplistic was compelling. I’m sure that I will pick up another book in the series in the future, but like always, too many books and too little time
